István Csernák

Csernák István has been devoted to free dance for the past seven years, a path that has profoundly transformed his life. Since then, dance has become an essential form of self-expression for him, alongside writing free poetry and creating improvised music, both of which have continued to expand and deepen his perspective.

Today, this way of living is present in his everyday life as well: he currently lives on a farm in Zala, surrounded by horses.

He does not follow systems, nor is he a DJ or performer in the traditional sense he simply remains a dancer who wishes to share this experience and personal journey through his events. In this form of expression, there is no external guidance, only inner direction; there are no wrong steps and no false notes.

He organized his first free dance event in 2021, in the grand hall of a synagogue an experience that left a lasting impression on him. Since then, he has continuously sought unique and inspiring locations that can provide a meaningful setting for these gatherings.
