Tamás Paulinyi

Writer, psi researcher

Writer, poet, psi researcher, podcaster, and self-awareness trainer, born in Budapest in 1962. For over 35 years, he has been engaged in the scientific study of paranormal phenomena and psi abilities, as well as in teaching the insights gained from this research for the purposes of self-knowledge and personal development. To date, he has published ten books and several hundred articles, has edited and hosted multiple television series, and currently runs several podcast programs.

The SZINTÉZIS PSI Lab, which he leads, has achieved internationally recognized results. As a researcher, he has developed unique methods in the fields of telepathy research, dreamwork, and the effective use of intuition.

As the founder and director of the SZINTÉZIS Open University, operating for 29 years, and as a guest lecturer at various educational institutions, he actively promotes the role of dreams and altered states of consciousness in everyday life and in psi phenomena. In recognition of his work in alternative psychology and spiritual literature, he was awarded the Mária Szepes Prize in 2015.

At the festival, his practical talk includes a drum-induced trance practice that supports dream programming, the development of lucid dreaming, and the safe integration of psychedelic-like experiences. A reliable and supportive framework is provided by members of the SZINTÉZIS shamanic drum circle, which has been active for decades.
