Barbara has been involved in yoga and mindfulness for twenty years. She started teaching children yoga six years ago and has been teaching languages to preschoolers for fifteen years. People think that we should teach children, but in fact, she believes that they teach us.
Self-knowledge is a process in which a person discovers and understands himself, his emotions, thoughts, motivations and behavior. Without self-knowledge, a person is unable to create a deeper connection with himself and others.
Yoga exercises help keep the body flexible, strengthen muscles and build body awareness.
Meditation quiets the person's mind so that he learns to first observe and then influence his thoughts, learns to observe his emotions and, with the help of awareness, -breaking out of the instinctive state- control his actions.
What is yoga for him? Self-observation. Self-mastery. Self-control. Self-knowledge.
A 15-year background in massage and knowledge gained from over 20 years of yoga practice, showed her a clear path towards FACEYOGA.
