Muslim educator
In 1995, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Budapest University of Economics, specializing in Economic Theory. Between 1991 and 2006, he was an employee of the Economic Research Institute, then of the GKI Economic Research Co. Ltd., and then a research leader.
He has been dealing with Islam since 1993, and has been a Muslim since 1995. He studied with renowned religious scholars in various countries of the Islamic world, and in 2014 he obtained a degree in Islamic religious law.
He is a founding member of the Hungarian Muslim Church, established in September 2000. Since 2001, he has been the president and religious educator of the Hungarian Muslim Church. He is a member of EULEMA (European Council of Muslim Leaders) and MJLC (Muslim Jewish Leadership Council).
He regularly represents Islam and Muslims in Hungary at national and international forums. He is married and has 5 children.
