Zsófia Záborszky

psychologist, Neurowellness instructor

As a psychologist, she long believed that understanding itself heals. Then life taught her that one can understand everything about oneselfand still lose inner stability.

Her turning point came when, within just a few years, she became a mother, a helping professional, and an entrepreneur all at once. The psychological models she had learned explained many things, but at a certain point the question was no longer what she understood, but how she could hold herself amid overwhelm, emotional fluctuations, and the intensity of everyday life.

As both a mother and a professional, she experienced firsthand the nervous system strain that many families live with: sleep deprivation, constant alertness, the ongoing adaptation required when raising neurodivergent children, relationship tensions, and the feeling that while everyone is trying to do their best, internally things are becoming increasingly unstable.

At the same time, through the Anyatükör community, she gained insight into the stories of thousands of mothers. Beneath exhaustion, anxiety, guilt, generational patterns, and relational wounds, the same pattern appeared again and again: people often suffer not because they dont understand themselves, but because their nervous systems are in a state of chronic overload.

This realization led to the creation of the Anyabalansz app, and later to the emergence of the Neurowellness approachintegrating tools from psychology, neuroscience, somatic practices, and self-compassion into forms that are simple to use and can be woven into everyday life.

In her work, she explores and teaches how to build genuine inner stability in an unstable worldnot by avoiding difficult emotions, nor by constantly trying to fix ourselves, but by learning how to hold ourselves even in the midst of emotional waves.

Because true stability does not mean the absence of storms, but the ability to remain grounded within them.

Neural space in self-awareness

AWARENESS

What makes a self-knowledge process truly transformative? Why are we able to open up in some spaces, while in other situations we close down, become defensive, or simply lose touch with ourselves?

In the self-knowledge and spiritual environment, we often talk about awareness, presence, trauma, or healing, while much less often we talk about the invisible foundation that makes all of this possible: the state of the nervous system.

In this presentation, we will explore how nervous system regulation and co-regulation appear in self-knowledge processes, whether it is individual accompaniment, group sessions, or our own inner journey. We will look at how the space, the group, the presence of the facilitator or therapist affect us, and why not just the method, but a sense of safety is one of the most important conditions for real change.

We will also discuss the role of the body in emotional and spiritual integration, how simple body-focused exercises can support deeper self-awareness work, and what happens when the body's signals are left out of the process.

Special attention will be paid to the phenomenon of spiritual bypassing: when spirituality often with completely good intentions becomes a means of avoiding emotional or physical reality. We will examine why grounding, self-regulation, and the perception of our own boundaries are not an obstacle, but a basic condition for deeper awareness.

During the presentation, short self-experience exercises will help participants not only understand, but also directly experience the topic.

The presentation will be held jointly by psychologist Zsófia Záborszky and spiritual self-awareness facilitator Róza Szabó TANIA. They will show from two different, yet complementary perspectives, how understanding the functioning of the nervous system can become one of the most important resources on the path to self-awareness and spirituality.

The presentation itself provides a complete experience, but at the same time forms a natural connection point to the practical experiences of the Neurowellness workshop.

This program provides an opportunity to experience nervous system stability even amidst the intense stimuli of the festival - by teaching simple exercises. These body-focused exercises and inspiring relaxations help to expand and stabilize the inner emotional space, and can support participants throughout the festival if they become emotionally heightened or overstimulated.

The process is integrated: it addresses the body, emotions and level of consciousness, while the emphasis remains on their own experience and strengthening their inner sense of security.

During the workshop, each participant can connect with themselves at their own pace and immerse themselves in the exercises according to their current state. These exercises are invitation-based, so they can also be followed by those who arrive "accidentally" or are encountering the nervous system approach for the first time.

Common benefits of using the Neurowellness Toolkit include a sense of relief and grounding, emotional stability, and the realization that the state of our nervous system can be supported in a subtle yet effective way.
