Health knows no borders. To support the mission and dream of advancing human health and development, FOHERB and EA jointly initiated the establishment of the World Health Industry and Economic Development Alliance (WHIEDA), a global platform for health-related industries and enterprises, professional organizations, scientific research institutions, and industry experts worldwide. This global platform brings together key resources dedicated to improving human health.

The Global Health Development Advisor of WHIEDA is Professor Zhang Daning, a Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Professor Zhang Daning is a world-renowned expert. He is the founder of nephrology in Traditional Chinese Medicine, an academician of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, and a leading healthcare expert for China's national leaders. When asteroid 8311 was named the Zhang Daning Star by the International Astronomical Union, he became the first contemporary medical scientist to receive this distinguished honor.

WHIEDA is a professional organization governed by its Executive Board. Its structure includes the Secretariat, the Industrial Economic Development Committee, the Health and Wellness Education Committee, the Industry Expert Advisory Committee, and the Industrial Financial Services Committee. WHIEDA has regional branches in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas, the Asia-Pacific region, and other countries around the world.
