EVERNESS - BRING YOUR COLOR - Holi Ceremony

Holi is one of Indias oldest and most joyous festivals, celebrating love, joy and the beauty of human relationships. According to Vedic tradition, Krishna, the loving incarnation of God, enjoyed this colorful game with his friends and devotees more than five thousand years ago.

Holi reminds us that happiness, playfulness and love all come from the same source. The throwing of colors symbolizes letting go of old grievances, forgiveness and a new beginning. At this time, social differences disappear and everyone can celebrate together, regardless of age, gender or origin.

During the ceremony, the colored powders are first offered to Krishna. According to tradition, this gives them spiritual significance and reminds the participants of the festival of their most beautiful qualities.
