Saman Retro Band concert

The Sámán Retro Band is a group formed for the pure joy of making music, consisting of experienced representatives of the Hungarian shaman movement that emerged in the early 1990s. Alongside its permanent members (István Somogyi, Zoltán Sólyomfi-Nagy, Annamária Babi Sütő, and István Barát), the band is often joined by other musicians as well (such as Sándor Csoóri, Barna Keresztes, and Ádám Horváth). Their repertoire features their own original songs, once heard around campfires, whose melodies have for decades been well known at gatherings of communities seeking the message of ancient traditions.
