A Personal Journey of Self-Discovery Through the Archetypes of the Tarot

Step into the mirror of your inner world, where the living archetypes of the Tarot await you timeless roles that reflect the many faces of human experience.

At the beginning of the journey, you draw a card: a role that holds a mirror to your current life situation. You are then guided through the labyrinth by costumed facilitators embodying different Tarot archetypes. Through the life theme of each archetype, you are invited to explore the role you are currently living and, through it, yourself.

These encounters unfold as intuitive dialogue, philosophical role-play, and an inner pilgrimage all at once. The journey offers an opportunity to look at what is happening within and around you from multiple perspectives, and to leave the labyrinth with new insights and greater clarity.

The Tarot Labyrinth is an interactive self-discovery performance created by Living Picture Theatre and developed over more than twenty years. During its early years, it was hosted annually at the Sziget Festival, where thousands of visitors experienced this unique inner journey between 2003 and 2014.
