Dénes Poór

Dénes Poór is a musician, producer and programmer whose work combines the worlds of technology, live music and consciousness.

He started as a fullstack web developer and then increasingly turned to music-themed projects: he worked on the web interfaces of festivals, concert venues, bands and various music initiatives.

He became more deeply involved in the world of music livestreaming during the pandemic. Within a short time, he began working as a broadcast director and then as a producer in various projects, where in addition to creative and technical implementation, financing, organization and business background became his tasks.

He gained experience primarily in jazz and live music projects, but later, thanks to the work of his wife, Noémi Tomek, he increasingly opened up to spiritual music and consciousness-related works.

Their joint project, the series of ten million daily online meditations, is a special space for connection: Noémi leads the meditation, and Dénes creates a musical atmosphere for it live. In his work, sound, presence and technology serve both the social and inner experience.

The Everness Festival has been an important connection point for him for years: he is also responsible for providing the technical background for the Örömvilág exodus, so he is present at the festival as a technical expert, producer and musical creator at the same time. This occasion is especially personal for him, because he not only works in the background, but also plays musical instruments, which for him is one of the most joyful forms of connection, yet it happens relatively rarely in such a medium. Moreover, this time the audience will not connect with them online, through comments and screens, but will be present in person, in a shared space. This live encounter makes the musical and meditative experience even deeper and more direct.
