GaiaTree

GaiaTree is a newly formed band, emerging in the present moment, within the infinite space of the heart. It was initiated by Zsolti Varga (Kirtan Band, Eksomos, Pachamama Band, Downtown Satori, Kündü), thoughas he puts itits current form was forged by the Universe itself. Less a result of deliberate human effort, GaiaTree came into being through alignment, synchronicity, chance encounters, and flowwhatever name we give to the organizing principle that shaped the band as it exists today.

Their music weaves together worlds from diverse traditions: heart-caressing healing songs rooted in Amazonian tribal lineages; meditative compositions built around the soundscape of the handpan; the sitars unique, atmosphere-creating tones; virtuosic clarinet playing; and dynamic, highly danceable Indian kirtanswhere participants are invited to sing together with the band. Completing the journey are mantra-rapinspired songs, a style that has become increasingly characteristic of Zsoltis musical expression.

All of this is accompanied and illuminated by two wonderful female voices, adding an extra layer of radiance and shimmer to the experience.
